No. Your job search is private by default. We never share, sell, or expose your applications, activity, or account data to employers, recruiters, or any other third party.
Astella is free during early access, and a lot of what makes it useful will stay free after that. If pricing does change, you'll get fair notice well ahead of time — you won't be switched to a paid plan without warning when early access ends.
A spreadsheet only holds what you type into it. Astella auto-fills applications from a job URL, surfaces new roles that match your preferences, and tracks your progress with analytics — all without manual upkeep. And if you've already got a spreadsheet going, you can import it in seconds.
Listings are sourced directly from company career pages, starting from a broad initial set of companies plus the ones our users actually apply to, not scraped from third-party job boards. If you have your own source you like to use, such as a GitHub repo (more source types coming soon), you can add it as a custom source and matches from it will show up in your personalized automatic feed. The shared job board stays the same for everyone.
